My first year on staff with Campus Outreach, I continually prayed for open doors in the Kappa Delta and Zeta Tau Alpha sororities, and over the past two years the Lord has been more than faithful. Last year, the Lord opened doors for me to lead two Bible studies with a group of freshman KDs and a group of freshman ZTAs. They are sophomores this year, and when they came back asking me if we could continue the study, I was so excited to continue these studies and excited to witness how the Lord is going to work in each one of their hearts. It's so crazy to think that this is my job, to hang out with these sweet girls and teach them about Jesus. During this fall semester, the KDs will be going through a study called “Treasuring and Trusting Christ” and the ZTAs will be going through a study on Christian identity. This past weekend was Sorority Recruitment at Wofford. This is when all four sororities at Wofford have three nights to tell freshman girls all about their sorority and see if they would be interested in joining. This is my third year helping out with ZTA’s recruitment, which I am able to do since I was a ZTA at Presbyterian College. Every year I make pumpkin chocolate chip muffins for the ZTA’s as an encouragement and this year I was able to do the same for KD, and the girls absolutely loved it. Helping out is a great way to serve them as a chapter and a fun opportunity to be around a big group of girls. My constant prayer is that these girls would fall more in love with Jesus and out of the over flow of their hearts would want to share with their sisters.
